Devil May Cry 3 For Switch To Add Style-Switching Mechanic
Capcom has revealed one of the new gameplay mechanics to be added to Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition for the Nintendo Switch. The original Devil May Cry 3 was the first in the franchise to introduce the Style System, which included six different combat styles like Gunslinger and Swordmaster.
However, it was only Devil May Cry 4 that later introduced the ability to switch between different Styles in an instant during combat by pressing one of the d-pad buttons. This Style Switching mechanic will be featured in the Switch version of Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition. SSS-weet!

For example, players will only need to press UP for Trickster, DOWN for Royal Guard, LEFT for Gunslinger and RIGHT for Swordmaster. double-tap LEFT for Doppelganger, and double-tap RIGHT for Quicksilver.
Capcom will showcase the Style Switching system during a Twitch live stream today at 10pm GMT+8 for Southeast Asian countries like Malaysia. Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition for the Nintendo Switch is slated to release on 20 February 2020.
Also, this news more or less confirms who the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC character will be. We could be wrong, but this IS Nintendo, a company not quite known for subtlety.
