Even Warface Is On The Switch Now

Free-to-play FPS Warface is now available on the Nintendo Switch. Even in a world where you can play The Witcher 3 on the Switch and cross-save with the PC version, this is a little unexpected.

Developed by Allods Team and published by My.Com, the game contains over 50 PvP maps and 200+ weapons that can be customized, in addition to PvE co-op content.

The game is also powered by CryEngine V. Sure, the Switch experience isn’t comparable to what you get on a capable PC, but it’s still pretty cool to see a CryEngine-powered game running on it.

I didn’t play much of Warface on Steam due to the lack of SEA-friendly servers, but I remember it being an okay modern military shooter with exceptionally large hit markers. I doubt that the Switch version will have SEA servers, but at least it’s free to check out.

Some trivia about the game: The PC version of Warface was originally made by Crytek’s Kiev studio before the developers left and formed their own company.
