EA Is Releasing Star Wars Squadron, A Space Flight Simulator

Yearning for the days when flight simulators for Star Wars properties were all the rage? Then you can look forward to this upcoming EA title.

A recent Microsoft store leak revealed that EA will be publishing an upcoming Star Wars title that features space battles with iconic X-Wing and TIE Fighter ships. The game is called Star Wars: Squadron and it’s slated for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 this Fall.

The game is developed by EA Motive and features single-player and multiplayer aerial and space combat. Which means you won’t just be fighting in a squadron in space, but also in the air on Star Wars‘ many, many planets.

Considering that people are still clamouring for a Star Wars: X-Wing title, this would be a wise move on EA’s part. Just don’t do the Battlefront II microtransactions-to-win nonsense.
