Hitman Creators Will Be Making A James Bond 007 Game

Best known for their Hitman franchise, IO Interactive has announced that their next project is a new James Bond game. It was revealed via a brief live stream earlier tonight.

IO Interactive’s new game is a simply titled Project 007 (which is the game’s working title and not final), with no new details besides the fact that it will be both developed and published by them. You can head on over here for the official website now.

Project 007 is described as featuring a “wholly original Bond story”, where players will delve into the “very first James Bond origin story”. If that’s the case, then it will probably be in the vein of Casino Royale, which is canonically first-ever James Bond book by Ian Fleming.
