Miss P.T? Try Out This Awesome PC Recreation Powered By Unreal
Back in 2014, a horror game demo called P.T made its way onto the PlayStation Store for all to play and experience. It was fun. And the best part? Once you solve the demo’s puzzle, you get to see a full-blown teaser to a new Silent Hill game directed by Metal Gear’s Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, the latter being famous for a romantic drama about a girl who wants to f*** a fish.
Of course, that could have come full circle if it weren’t for all that Konami-Kojima drama and publisher cock-up in 2015. However, if you missed out on that demo, fret not! Developer RadiusGordello recreated the entire demo within 9 months using the latest Unreal Engine. He’s been working on the demo for 9 months since April 2018. If you want to jump right in, just download it right here.
Everything from the textures to the code was recreated from scratch. Talk about going beyond for all of us wanting to play a free demo of a cancelled horror game; hat’s off to you! It’s exactly like the original demo on PS4, except you can use a mouse & keyboard combo, VR motion controllers, and an Xbox controller because that’s easier to plug in and play than most gamepads.
If you want to download it now, you may want to check out the specs first:
Minimum Tested Specs

HQ SSR Turned off and resolution at 35% gets ~30fps with these specs
If you want to get technical, you can check out his developer notes here.
