Ubisoft Announces Phase 2 of Rainbow Six Siege Pilot Program
Ubisoft just announced Phase 2 of the revenue sharing Pilot Program for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege’s esports scene that began in 2018.

This is one step ahead for the program, continuing on the success of allowing revenue sharing with Pro League teams, based on specific in-game items, providing organisations and pro players additional revenue from the game to promote to a more stable environment. Phase 2 of the program will begin in June 2019 and run until May 2020. It aims to develop a lasting competitive scene by supporting teams and help evolve the game’s ecosystem for the players.

The second phase of the program improves on many aspects of the first one. 16 teams would be included instead of 11 teams, as in the first one, and this program is now open for all to apply in the 4 regions; North America, Europe, Latin America & Asia Pacific.
Phase 2 of the Pilot Programs introduces a new and open qualitative selection process. Any team, both inside and outside of the Rainbow Six Siege ecosystem can apply. To ensure a fair evaluation, third parties will be involved in the selection of the candidates. This is to make sure they identify the best potential partners and accurately assess the team to fit into the expanding Rainbow Six Siege ecosystem.

All teams involved with the Pilot Program will get a share of the revenues from team branded sales as well as Pro League related in-game sales.
