Crunchyroll and Aniplex have announced that Demon Slayer Season 4 AKA Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc will begin streaming on Crunchyroll starting from 12 May 2024, with new episodes following every week.

Haruo Sotozaki continues to direct Demon Slayer at the anime studio ufotable, with Akira Matsushima as Chief Animation Director and Character Designer, and music by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina. The Demon Slayer: KImetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc TV anime is scheduled to premiere with a one-hour episode in Japan.

At the time of writing, it’s currently unclear if Demon Slayer Season 4 will also premiere on Netflix in Malaysia like previous seasons.

Demon Slayer Season 3 ended in June 2023 and Season 4 was announced back then, which confirmed that the upcoming season will be an adaptation of the Hashira Training Arc in the manga.

The Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc begins with volume 16 of the manga. VIZ describes the story:

Tanjiro goes to see the Stone Hashira, Himejima, who intends to prepare him for the battles to come. The training to become a Hashira—a high-ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps—is intense and demanding, and earning Himejima’s approval seems impossible, but Tanjiro won’t give up! Meanwhile, the demon lord Muzan continues to search for the location of Nezuko and Ubuyashiki.
