Epic Games is teasing yet another crossover with Marvel and this time it’s coinciding with the highly-anticipated release of Avengers Endgame. Last year’s Fortnite Avengers Infinity War event allowed players to equip the Infinity Gauntlet and transform into Thano temporarily in what was called the Infinity Gauntlet Mode.
The official Fortnite Twitter account didn’t reveal any details about the upcoming Fortnite X Avengers Endgame crossover, besides a promo image and the tagline, “Whatever It Takes.”
The image in question depicts a female Fortnite character wielding Captain America’s iconic shield so it wouldn’t be much of stretch to think that players will somehow be able to wield the shield during combat. Perhaps the Infinity Gauntlet mode may even return, or Epic Games might introduce a bunch of Avengers Endgame skins.
Whatever it takes.
