ASUS Announces Glacier Blue Republic of Gamers Laptops
By Syazwan Bahri|May 28, 2019|0 Comment
ASUS has dropped the coolest bomb on the market with their new Glacier Blue colourway exclusively available for Republic of Gamers (ROG) lineup, specifically the Zephyrus S GX502, Zephyrus M GU502, and Strix G G531 and G731.
The frosty colour looks and feels lighter, bringing brand new energy to gaming laptops. ASUS says the colour was inspired by this season’s focus on Intelligent Cooling, something ASUS nailed since the earlier days of portable gaming.
The ROG obsession with cooling can be seen throughout the new lineup, from the innovative Active Aerodynamic System in Zephyrus S laptops to the heavily ventilated 3D Flow Zone in the new Strix series. As such, ROG designers narrowed in on shades of blue that evoked a cooler feeling at first sight.
These icy blue laptops are equipped with Intel’s 9th Generation Core CPUs paired with Nvidia’s beastly RTX graphics cards and 240hz screens, packing a similar punch to its standard-coloured counterparts, only this time in a lighter tone to help bring the ROG brand to a wider audience.
These new colourways will be available this year and will be featured at Computex 2019 happening in Taiwan from 28 May to 1 June.
