Ninja Theory’s Next Exclusive Is A 4v4 Melee Game Called Bleeding Edge
By KakuchopureiVerified|June 8, 2019|0 Comment
Hellblade studio and now-owned-by-Microsoft subsidiary Ninja Theory will be making an upcoming 4v4 online melee game called Bleeding Edge.
The leaked trailer below (via Xboxer) shows off the game’s roster of odd fighters. And we mean really odd, not like your SFV Birdies and Guilty Gear Xrd‘s Bedman. It’s like they’re returning to their Kung Fu Chaos roots, but in their semi-serious kinda-goofy way while taking the lessons they’ve learned in DMC: Devil May Cry and Hellblade.
Here’s a description from the now taken-down site:
“Choose your fighter and join a team of super-charged renegades from the edges of society: burn rubber as bold and beautiful Buttercup with her detachable sawblade arms, tear it up as Black Metal rocker NiÄ‘höggr with his electrifying guitar solos, or slash up the streets as New York’s most wanted ninja, Daemon.”
Seriously, just take a look; it does look kinda wicked.
[wpvideo 6TNObPiM]The game’s technical alpha will start on 27th June, if this is your cup of team-based fighting tea. We’ll find out more when Microsoft and Xbox reveals the goods this coming Monday at 4am, since they own Ninja Theory.
