Early teasers and leaks for season 3 of Street Fighter V had suggested that the mysterious masked fighter Q from Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike was supposed to make his return in season 3 of SFV, but instead we got another hat-wearing fighter with a similarly mysterious single-letter moniker.

So is G really Q? The short answer is: not exactly, but he might be, but we’re not sure, but there’s definitely a connection based on their moveset similarities. Lore is part of what makes the character, and the mystery surrounding the man who claims to be the president of the world is what makes his character all the more electrifying.

To be president of the world, you need to have some serious charisma, and this character oozes it in literally every single thing he does on screen, from his special move animations to simply walking backwards.
