Jump Force’s Toriyama-Created Bosses Will Be Playable Soon

Bandai Namco’s Jump Force was just released a few months ago and it didn’t exactly get hot reviews. The 3D fighting game had decent but ultimately forgettable combat plus laughably bad character animations in cutscenes. However, the game did allow us to see some fun interactions between anime characters from different universes and a lot of hardcore shounen fans still love the game.

For those of you still loyal to Jump Force, a duo-set of good news has just arrived. Two of the game’s original villains will be playable in an upcoming free update. After getting patch ver1.10 and ver1.11, you’ll be able to play as Kane and Galena. Aside from the two characters, the patches also come with other additions and improvements:

  • Added sword fighting style “Type D”

  • Added Online Event “Raid Boss Battle”

  • Added Clan Boost (Raid Attack Boost / Raid Physical Resistance Boost)

  • Added purchasable event tickets at Shop Counter

  • Added purchasable costumes at Shop Counter

  • Improved game stability

– via Bandai Namco.

Jump Force is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
