Just like FFXIV‘s previous expansions, Shadowbringers features two types of raids set to receive multiple updates over the expansion’s lifetime.
The first raid, Eden, is an 8-man instance inspired by the same summon you see in Final Fantasy VIII. Expect a series of boss battles and an opportunity for more gear.
There’s also a 24-man alliance raid based on a non-Final Fantasy game, NieR Automata. Called YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse, the raid will have the eccentric Yoko Taro on as a guest creator, so expect some nonsensical and strange moments to behold as well as fun outfits to earn.
