Nintendo has announced the release date for Curse of the Vampire, the first chapter of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3‘s DLC Expansion Pass. It will add four new characters from the Marvel Knights line, including Moon Knight, Blade, Punisher, and Morbius as playable characters.

It will also add a new Gauntlet Mode, where up to four players will take on an intense series of co-op challenges in rapid succession to earn rewards, or find out how long they can last in Endurance Mode and see how high they make it on the online ranking board.

Curse Of The Vampire will only be the first of three DLC packs featured in the Expansion Pass, as there are plans to introduce the Fantastic Four and more X-Men characters in future DLC. It is slated to release on 30 September 2019.

However, the game will also be adding free content updates, like the playable Cyclops and Colossus later this month. I personally liked Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, though it ultimately doesn’t live up to the epic experience that was the first instalment all those years ago.
