Blizzard Honours Late StarCraft 2 Legend With Commemorative Bundle

In late July, the world lost one of the most important figures in StarCraft 2 esports history. Geoff “iNcontroL” Robinson passed away due to sudden illness, leaving many family members, friends, and people in the StarCraft 2 community heartbroken. Paying tribute to Geoff’s legacy, Blizzard has announced an iNcontroL Commemorative Bundle for StarCraft 2.

The free bundle will contain Geoff’s Announcer Pack, Portrait, and some additional items. It will be available for download starting today 22 October 2019.

Before he co-founded his weekly podcast on strategy games The Pylon Show, Geoff was a former captain and one of the founders of the Evil Geniuses StarCraft esports team. He was one of those people who had great knowledge on the game and contributed a lot in terms of popularising StarCraft esports. Blizzard ended their announcement with some very beautiful words:

“We’d like to believe that StarCraft was important to Geoff. But what we know, beyond any doubt, is that Geoff was important to StarCraft.”
