Yes, We Are Getting A Deadpool 3 From Marvel Studios

Who doesn’t love R-rated superhero films? Nobody, because those folks are probably Nazis or people who loved that new Cats movie.

Speaking of random tangential humour, the Deadpool franchise will be getting a third film and will be developed at Marvel Studios. Here’s what star/producer/co-writer/Detective Pikachu Ryan Reynolds said on an interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan (via ComicBook):

“Yeah yeah, we’re working on [Deadpool 3] right now with the whole team. We’re over at Marvel now, which is like the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kinda crazy. So yeah, we’re working on it.”

So who was he referring to when he said “whole team”? Well, it may be Deadpool/Deadpool 2 screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Werneck. There’s currently no announced director for the film at the moment. In any case, don’t expect this film to be out so soon since Marvel Studios already have a bunch of Phase 4 films like Black Widow and Eternals in 2020.
