Guess What The Nintendo Switch Imposter Is Called?

Do you really want to be the world’s worst parent or uncle/aunty to your kid/nephew/niece? Then you may want to get them this Nintendo Switch knock-off called the, I friggin’ kid you not, the Nanica Smitch.

This 500-game console is clearly an NES/Famicom emulator in a Nintendo Switch package, right down to the detachable “Joy Cons”. Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t accept Switch cartridges. And its games are illegal ROMs, but you can already surmise that. We’re still uncertain as to where it’s made at; it may be a Colombia thing if this retail site is of any indication.

Check out this fake in action.

While it’s pretty easy to distinguish the real Nintendo Switch packaging from the Nanica Smitch’s, we still need to spread the word out. This is the real deal…

…while this is the fake.

So yeah, buyers beware!

A handful of my blog visitors have complained about my website not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.”
