2019 has been a great year for video games and not just in the AAA sphere. A healthy number of indie developers finally had their break and made it big. House House is one those developers.

Founder of Panic Inc. Cabel Sasser tweeted that Untitled Goose Game has successfully sold more than one million copies as of last week. Panic Inc. is the game’s publisher and they also published Campo Santo’s Firewatch.

Untitled Goose Game was first released for PC and Switch on 20 September 2019. This means that the game hit the one million milestone just a bit after three months. On the Switch, it sold more than 100,000 copies within two weeks after its release.

The game was released for PS4 and Xbox One just a few weeks ago on 17 December 2019. Unfortunately, Steam users will have to wait for another year. It’s scheduled to be released on Steam sometime in late 2020.

If you haven’t gotten the chance to try the game, it’s being sold on the Epic Games Store for just US$9.99 (~RM41). It’s one of those games that will take just a few hours to finish but every minute is full of honking and waddling fun.
