Apex Legends’ Best Weapons Of Season 4, Ranked
A Tier (a.k.a: good picks)
7. Hemlok Burst AR

The Hemlok’s ability to switch between two modes makes it a versatile weapon for all types of engagements. Pair it with a good scope and you can double it up as a marksman rifle.
6. Devotion LMG

Now no longer a common weapon, and instead, a care package weapon, the Devotion is a must-pick if you have tons of energy ammo in your reserve. An easy decision to upgrade from the Devotion.
5. Mastiff Shotgun

The most powerful weapon up close but pretty much useless in other range of engagements. Still, high on our list due to its ability to shred opponents and clutching it in intense firefights.
4. L-STAR EMG

Now a common drop, the L-Star EMG, in the hands of the unskilled looks like a fireworks display machine on New Year’s Day. But to those who mastered the weapon’s firing rhythm and recoil pattern, is deadly no matter the distance.
Since this weapon does not require a reload – it only needs a barrel change if you fire it continuously – keeping two of them in your loadout theoretically means that you won’t need to reload ever.
3. R-99

The meta weapon regardless of which Apex Legends season you are playing in, the R-99’s deadliness in the battlefield is only limited by its small magazine size (even if you’re using a purple mag). Which, to be fair, was purposely designed to balance out its super high fire rate.
