Sony To Skip US Game Expo Due To Coronavirus
Sony recently announced that it will not be attending the upcoming PAX East fan convention due to safety concerns related to the coronavirus outbreak.
Sony planned to showcase Final Fantasy VII Remake, The Last of Us: Part 2, and maybe even some tidbits about the PlayStation 5.
The event will take place in Boston from 27th February to 1st March, which is next week. The show not only has a great combination of publishers and gaming communities (where events like MAGFest focuses on the latter), but also feature a bunch of new gaming announcements.
On a related note, Sony is also skipping E3 2020, though not because of the coronavirus. Mostly because ESA can’t get their s*** together.Â
