CRPG fans really love the Wasteland series, to the point where they crowdfunded Wasteland 3 to huge success. And now they get to reap their early rewards.

Backers who supported the crowdfunding project will get to play the Wasteland 3 beta on 17th March at 9am PDT, according to the game’s official Fig page. This applies to the folks who backed the game for US$25 and above.

Those who participated in the alpha test last August will not need to redeem a new key. Everyone else will get a Steam code soon.

The beta will contain the first few hours of Wasteland 3, which includes character creation and a handful of early areas. You can stream and publish whatever you want, so go nuts if you’re participating.

The actual full game will be out 19th May, so you won’t have to wait too long to play the real deal.
