Nacon Confirms New Test Drive Unlimited Game In The Works
The first Test Drive Unlimited originally launched for the Xbox 360 back in 2006, offering a new template for open-world racing games. It’s been nine years since the last instalment, and we’re finally getting confirmation of a new entry in the franchise.
Speaking with VentureBeat, Nacon (previously Bigben Interactive) Head of Publishing Benoit Clerc spoke about what the publisher has in store for in the future. He confirmed that KT Racing Kylotonn is currently working on a new Test Drive Unlimited game.
Based in Paris and Lyon, the developer is best known for having worked on off-road racing with WRC (World Championship Rally) and is currently finishing development on two-wheel racing with Isle of Man TT (which is slated to release on 20 March 2020).

Clerc doesn’t reveal anything else about the new Test Drive Unlimited game, but we’ll probably hear more about it in the near future. A good racing game that’s not Forza or Gran Turismo is hard to come by these days, so this is definitely welcome news for the racing video game community.
