New Batman Arkham Game Might Be A Reboot
It’s been six months since that Batman Day tease by Warner Bros. (WB) Games Montreal, which seemed to have been teasing a new Batman Arkham game. However, nothing ultimately came out of it, as the developer has remained silent all this time. Now evidence has surfaced that suggests the new Batman Arkham game will be a reboot.
According to sources from GWW, WB Montreal’s new Batman Arkham game will be a soft reboot instead of a sequel to 2015’s Batman Arkham Knight. It is said to feature more playable members of the Batfamily, the Court of Owls as antagonists, and incorporate more elements of co-op gameplay.
While those sources might be dubious, a ResetEra user has pointed out a recent LinkedIn entry that seems to lend further credibility to the rumour above. WB Games Montreal Senior Producer Bryan Theberge added the following to his Experience column:

The ‘New IP’ and working together with DC Comics suggest that the Batman Arkham game is going to be a reboot. However, none of this has yet to be confirmed or denied by WB Games Montreal. Perhaps we’ll learn more about the game soon, or even at the upcoming E3 2020.
