Malaysian Dev Helped In Making FFVII Remake & Resident Evil Resistance
By Alleef Ashaari|April 16, 2020|0 Comment
After being involved in several projects with major game developers/publishers in the past, Malaysia-based CGI art and animation studio Lemon Sky Studios have announced their latest involvement in two recent game releases from the same two companies, Square Enix and Capcom.
The first is the recent Final Fantasy VII Remake by Square Enix (check out our full review here). For Final Fantasy VII Remake, Lemon Sky was responsible for in-game visuals (3D asset creation).
Lemon Sky has also worked with Square Enix on multiple projects in the past, including Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood and Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers.
In addition, Lemon Sky was also involved with Resident Evil Resistance (check out my full review here), the separate online multiplayer experience which released alongside Capcom’s Resident Evil 3 Remake.
Lemon Sky has previously worked on Capcom games such as Teppen and Dead Rising 4. For this project, Lemon Sky was brought on board by NeoBards Entertainment and their role in this project was creating 3D assets for the characters and environment.
In other related news, Lemon Sky is also involved in the development of the upcoming Command & Conquer Remastered Collection.
