This Sims Fan Has Built A Malay Minangkabau House In The Sims 4

Yesterday, we covered a Malaysian who managed to recreate authentic Ramadan bazaars in the Nintendo Switch exclusive Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Today, we have discovered another Malaysian in the same spirit of using games to inspire local festive vibes, especially during the currently-ongoing MCO (Movement Control Order).

A Malaysian named @NunaTasya on Twitter has shared screenshots of her creations in The Sims 4, which includes building a traditional Minangkabau-style Malay house completely adorned with interior decorations and all.

You can check out the rooms inside her Minangkabau-style Malay house below, all of which look homey and authentic to the overall theme. There’s even a room with a sejadah, or Islamic prayer mat, for added measure.

According to her tweets, she only used base game content (and several custom decorative items) to build the Minangkabau-style Malay house. Other The Sims 4 players can find her unique creations in the game’s Gallery by searching the term ‘nunatasyaxx’ and ticking the box for custom content.
