The Bulky Beamer

Until recently, LMGs haven’t been very popular in Warzone due to their clunkiness and bulk. Ever tried reloading a PKM mid-gunfight? It’s not fun.

All that changed following the introduction of the Bruen MK9, which is based on the real-life M249 SAW LMG. The base weapon, while fun to use, is far from the final form of this highly underrated gun. Here’s how to improve it:

• Monolithic Suppressor:  Stay off the radar while you laser your enemies with a constant stream of bullets from afar. Magic.
• Merc Foregrip: Counters the recoil for a more uniform spread. Helps to track moving targets better too!
• Bruen 18-in Para Barrel: Further reducing its clunkiness, the Para barrel improves on ADS and movement speed. While this attachment puts a slight hit on accuracy at range, you’ll be firing so many bullets at the general direction of the target, you’ll end up hitting them anyway.
• 60-Round Mags: Switching to the 60-round magazine from the stock 100 gives you not 1, or 2. But 4 pros at the cost of one negative which is a lowered ammo capacity. Your ADS, sprint, movement and reload speeds are all increased giving you the mobility akin to handling an assault rifle, but with the added bullet penetration perk of carrying an LMG.
• Choice of Optics: Any zoom optic would do but we’d recommend you take full advantage of the increased range by selecting either the Integral Hybrid or the 4.0 Flip Hybrid.

Bonus: Equipping the following will produce a weapon closely resembling Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier’s trademark gun in the Captain America and Avengers films. 

• 18-in Para Barrel
• Skeleton Stock
• 60-round Magazine
• Integral Hybrid
• Commando/ Tactical Foregrip/ any Rear Grip

Not the most viable for Warzone, but it’s pretty cool nonetheless.

Use this setup if: You have average aim but want to take on medium to long range engagements. And if you want to be like Winter Soldier.
