The Multi-Tasking DMR

Although the SCAR is an assault rifle by default, it can be converted into an effective DMR build by equipping the right attachments. In this build, we concentrated on its ability to hit targets in range while ensuring viability in emergency close-quarters engagements.

• Monolithic Suppressor:  Stay stable while hidden. What’s not to like?
• Merc Foregrip: The SCAR kicks quite a lot vertically so equipping it with the Merc Foregrip not only keeps it stable, but also keeps your sights on target.
• Forge TAC 20.0-in Long Barrel: Increases range effectiveness while reducing recoil. This is essentially the SCAR’s version of the M4A1 Grenadier barrel – just better looking. Also, may we recommend opting for ‘The Traitor’ blueprint.
• Optics: It is a toss-up between the VLK 3.0, Integral Hybrid or the 4.0 Flip Hybrid.
• Tac Laser: For a more rounded weapon, we opt for the Tac Laser to balance out the movement and ADS penalties we racked up so far. If you prefer a more DMR-skewed setup, opt for the XRK Obelisk Pro stock instead.
