Cyberpunk 2077 Event Delayed To 25th June
CD Projekt has postponed its upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 digital event.
The new date for the presentation will be on 25th June. Previously it was 11th June. The company delayed it because it didn’t feel that now was the right time to discuss the game.
“We decided to move Night City Wire to June 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP’77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard.
We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.”

This is one instance in a long line of video game companies making a statement regarding the recent Black Lives Matter protests due to the murder of George Floyd.
On a related note, PlayStation delayed its PS5 presentation for the very same reason. Honestly, we’re all cool and dandy with this; there are way more important things than video game announcements and escapism at the moment.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be out on 17th September for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
