Malaysian Game Bake ‘n Switch Is Getting A PS4 Version
By Alleef AshaariVerified|June 29, 2020|0 Comment
We covered Streamline Games’ upcoming game Bake ‘n Switch last year during Level Up KL 2019, calling it one of the most promising local games currently in development. At the time, it was only confirmed for PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch. Now the Malaysia-based studio has announced that the game is also coming to the PS4.
For those unfamiliar, Bake ‘n Switch is a party brawler that features co-op and player-versus-player party action for up to four players with online multiplayer capabilities. Players assume the role of a Baker who must punch, merge and bake adorable Bun creatures by throwing them into ovens in colourful levels to appease the Guardians.
The bigger the Bun, the higher the points. It’s hectic and good multiplayer fun, similar to what you’d expect from games like Overcooked. According to Streamline Games Chief Community Baker Layla Amir (via PlayStation Blog), Bake ‘n Switch will launch with two Worlds, six Bakers, seven Buns, two Bosses, as well as an abundance of unlockable abilities, levels, and costumes.
However, Streamline Games has yet to announce a release date for the PS4 version of Bake ‘n Switch, but the Nintendo Switch and PC versions are slated to arrive sometime in summer 2020.
