Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Season Pass Trailer Details Post-Launch Plans

Ubisoft has unveiled a new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla trailer that details the post-launch plans for the upcoming game. The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Season Pass will feature two epic expansions and a bonus quest.

The first expansion is Wrath Of The Druids, which will launch sometime in Spring 2021. Players will visit Ireland and unravel the mysteries of an ancient Druid cult while conquering ring-forts and “influence the trading systems of Dublin”.

The second expansion is The Siege Of Paris, which will launch sometime in Summer 2021. Players will visit “war-torn” Frankia (the old name for France) and encounter historical figures, as well as fight elite soldiers of Emperor Charles the Fat.

Meanwhile, the bonus quest ‘The Legend Of Beowulf’ will be available at launch. However, there will also be free seasonal content (outside of the Season Pass), which will begin releasing at the end of 2020 with a “Yule Festival” event.

The Seasonal Content will also include new game modes like the River Raid. which will expand on the existing Raising mechanics in the game. Last but not least, the developer also confirmed that just like Origins and Odyssey before it, Valhalla will also receive an education Discovery Tour mode.

The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Season Pass comes alongside the Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition of the game, or players can purchase it separately.

The game still hasn’t launched yet and Ubisoft already has a plethora of what seems to be great content waiting for gamers. As an avid history buff, the fact that there’ll be Druids and the historical Siege Of Paris (885-886) in the game are enough make to me giddy with excitement.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is slated to launch on 10 November 2020 for the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS4, the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on PC. However, it will only release for the PS5 on 12 November 2020.

In other recent news, the game’s latest trailer revealed new gameplay details, including the fact that players can wield Excalibur and visit America.
