Magneto Voice Actor David Hemblen Dies At 79

David Hemblen has died at the age of 79. His death was reported via an obituary on the Toronto Star.

The late Canadian actor was best known for voicing the iconic X-Men villain Erik Lehnsherr AKA Magneto throughout all five seasons of the legendary X-Men The Animated Series from the 90s.

He also voiced Magneto in the 2000 and 2001 fighting games X-Men Mutant Academy and X-Men Mutant Academy 2,

In addition, his best-known live-action role was as Jonathan Doors on the science fiction TV series, Earth Final Conflict, which was based on ideas by Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry.
