Steam Adds PS5’s DualSense Controller Support
By Alleef Ashaari|November 16, 2020|0 Comment
Steam has already added support for the PS5’s new DualSense controller, albeit only in the Steam Client Beta. That was quick, considering that the PS5 just launched last week on 12 November 2020 in select countries.
According to the patch notes, the Steam Client Beta has added “initial support” for the PS5’s DualSense controller. However, advanced features like the rumble, trackpad, and gyro are not yet supported.
What that means is that highly-promoted DualSense features such as Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers won’t be available via Steam as of yet. It remains to be seen when these will be added, but they will probably be added in the future.
In the meantime, head on over here for all our coverage and news regarding the PS5.
