Genshin Impact Wins 3 Major Google Play Awards
Anime action RPG wunderkind Genshin Impact, renowned for making gacha games cool, mainstream, and possibly annoying for everyone who plays an iota of games, is getting some prestige from Google Play.
The recent Google Play Awards have bestowed the game and its creators Mihoyo the following Google Play awards:

We’re not sure about the latter award since it’s just an amalgamation of every single RPG, mobile game, and action-adventure trope with a huge marketing budget. Still, credit where it’s due: it took ideas from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and arguably made it better and free for all. Look forward to Mihoyo celebrating by giving its player base free Primogems.
