Oscar Isaac Is Solid Snake In The Metal Gear Solid Movie

Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ Metal Gear Solid movie adaptation has been gestating for several years now, but we finally have the actor who will bring the iconic Solid Snake to life and it’s none other than Oscar Isaac.

Isaac is best known for playing ace pilot Poe Dameron in the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy movies and other films like 2015’s Ex Machina. However, according to Deadline, it’s unclear when the Metal Gear Solid movie will begin production, considering Isaac’s busy schedule.

Jordan Vogt-Roberts is attached to direct the Metal Gear Solid under Sony Pictures, with Derek Connolly writing the script and Avi Arad producing. Meanwhile, Isaac will next be seen in Warner Bros’ Dune, which has been delayed to 2021.
