Singapore Indie Studio Springloaded Announces Adorable-Looking Zoo Simulator

Ever wanted a 90s simulation ala Theme Park but revved up for 2021? And instead of rides and attractions, it’s real-life animals and zoological displays? Then developer Springloaded has you sorted!
The Singapore indie game studio has announced its upcoming top-down 2D pixel graphic simulation Let’s Build A Zoo, where you’re given the task to create the biggest and most successful wildlife enclosure in the world.
The game features over 500 different animals for you to keep and put on display, as well as splice around to create over 300,000 beautiful creatures/abominations in 2D pixelated glory. So that they’re less abominable, of course. The game also boasts hundreds of buildings, foliage, path and enclosure decorations, as well as give you the power to control everything in the zoo from the animal’s diet to how legitimate your business is. Yes, you can break laws for extra cash.
There’s no release date for the game yet, but it’s slated for PC (via Steam). You can add the game to your wishlist here. Check out the short but sweet trailer below, which may remind a lot of old-school gamers of Bullfrog games back in the day. Hopefully the difficulty isn’t as brutal.
