Little Witch Academia Anime Gets A VR Broom Racing Game

The Little Witch Academia anime brand is taking another stab at video games after its not-so-hot debut.

Developer UNIVRS just announced Little Witch Academia: VR Broom Racing, a game where you race little witches in Luna Nova (anime Hogwarts) in VR first-person mode. The game previously launched for Oculus Quest back in October 2020. Here’s a quote from UNIVRS COO Naoya Koji about the upcoming title:

“Virtual reality is such a unique medium to bring an anime to life, and we’re lucky to work with such great talent to make Luna Nova feel real. With the improvements and new content we added since the Oculus Quest launch, we expect to spellbind a whole new generation of players.”

The game will be out for PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and SteamVR on 15 July. Check out the gameplay trailer below (via Gematsu).
