Total War Warhammer 3 Reaches Second Highest Steam Player Count In The Franchise

It’s been less than a week since Total War Warhammer 3 launched on 17 February on Steam and Epic Games Store. Impressively, it has managed to reach the second-highest concurrent player count peak on Steam in the entire Total War franchise.

According to statistics provided by SteamDB, Total War Warhammer 3 has racked up a peak concurrent player count of 166,754 on launch day, which is almost twice as many as Total War Warhammer 2, and the second-highest in the franchise after 2019’s Total War Three Kingdoms, which remains the highest with a massive 192,298 concurrent Steam player peak.

What’s even more impressive is that the game managed to achieve this despite being subjected to review bombing (the game is currently at a Mixed review rating on Steam), with Chinese players being upset with how the game was promoted in China.

In the meantime, check out my review of Total War Warhammer 3 by heading over here.
