Supermassive Releases Trailer For New Teen Horror Game Called The Quarry

Supermassive Games (Until Dawn, Dark Pictures Anthology) has announced a new title they’re developing with publisher 2K Games: a new horror game called The Quarry.

It’s set in a summer camp at a place called Hackett’s Quarry. And yes, there are pissed-off denizens in the Quarry aiming to kill the teens. You play as each of the nine camp counsellors and shape their stories and fate in the game; they’re stuck in a house for one night and are being targeted by crazed villagers. The game also features co-op up to seven friends online; a “party horror couch co-op experience” if you will. Here’s the official description:

“Hunted by blood-drenched locals and something far more sinister, the teens’ party plans unravel into an unpredictable night of horror. Friendly banter and flirtations give way to life-or-death decisions, as relationships build or break under the strain of unimaginable choices.

Play as each of the nine camp counsellors in a thrilling cinematic tale, where every choice shapes your unique story from a tangled web of possibilities. Any character can be the star of the show – or die before daylight comes. How will your story unfold?”

The cast is pretty star studded; they include:

  • David Arquette (Scream)
  • Justice Smith
  • Ariel Winter (Modern Family)
  • Brenda Song
  • Lance Henrickson (Aliens)
  • Lin Shaye (A Nightmare on Elm Street)

Watch the trailer below. The Quarry will be out in 10th June, 2022.
