Crossfire: Legion Enters The RTS Fray This May In Early Access Form

Prime Matter and Smilegate has announced the release date of its upcoming strategy game Crossfire: Legion, which is based on the multiplayer shooter that’s a big hit overseas for being a CS:GO-style game.

Crossfire: Legion will be in Early Access form for PC (Steam) this 24 May. The Early Access Build will feature the whole of the game’s first Act, as well as have 1 co-op mode and 2 multiplayer modes. Leaderboards will also be available so you can compete for the top spot and online RTS champ bragging rights.

Crossfire: Legion is a real-time strategy games made by ex-Relic veterans that plans to go back to the good old days of 90s and early 2000s RTS multiplayer skirmishes. The game features three factions with their own playstyles: Black List (guerilla hit-and-run tactics), Global Risk (ranged specialists), and New Horizon (powerful but slow group). If you missed Command & Conquer and StarCraft, this could be the next big fix for your RTS jollies.
