Halo Infinite Will Feature Cross-Marketing With TV Series One Day

If you’re wondering why the Halo TV show on Paramount+ and Mola.tv aren’t doing any immediate tie-ins with last year’s hit multiplayer shooter Halo Infinite, here’s why.

According to a Washington Post report, 343 Industries community director Brian Jarrard said the team is looking at ways to feature the show within the game’s established universe and canon. Here’s the official word:

“We will have some content that is inspired by the show that will be coming out in the game a little bit further down the road.”

He and 343 Industries hope the show would be an onboarding process for people who are fans of the show at first but want to try the game(s) out one day.

“The hope is that we see a lot more cross-pollination. ‘You like the show? Check out the game, by the way it’s free to play.

We are looking at threads and nods we can bring into ‘Infinite’ because it is a service, and we’ll have the ability to shape and influence experiences and content over time, even though they are technically different universes and timelines,” Jarrard said. “I do think that you’ll see some eventual nods back and forth between the two … to look at ways to pull the show in fun ways.”

The Halo TV show has reportedly set the Paramount+ streaming service’s record for most-watched series premiere on a global scale.

Where Is Halo Infinite Season 2?

The second season of Halo Infinite will be out on 3 May, with 343 Industries expected to ramp up communication on new content during the season. Truth be told, the company didn’t do a bang-up job in that aspect for Season 1, so it will learn from its mistakes and do better.
