Mafia 4 Reportedly Set In Sicily & Focused On Don Salieri
There were reports earlier this month that Hangar 13 was working on a new Mafia game that will serve as a prequel to the original three installments, with the project supposedly currently being in early development. Now, more potential details on the game have been revealed, according to XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker in a recent episode of the XboxEra podcast.
According to Baker, Mafia 4 (not its official title) will be set in Sicily, Italy, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The game will apparently focus on Don Salieri. In the original games, Don Salieri is the head honcho of the Salieri crime family, who protagonist Tommy Angelo works for.
His source also told him that Mafia 4 is going to be a more linear game as opposed to fully open world. However, we should take all this with a grain of salt.
