Adventure Game Season Is Delayed To Early 2023

Season was an adventure game that was announced during The Game Awards 2020 that got a lot of people talking because of its aesthetics and its protagonist. It was slated for late 2022, but no more.

The upcoming adventure game for PS4, PS5, and PC (Epic Games Store) will be out in Q1 2023 instead. The delay is due to push for the game’s quality without affecting the wellbeing of the team. Here’s the full message:

“We have an important update on the status of SEASON: A letter to the future. We are fortunate to have such a passionate and talented group of you following the game. Seeing your lovely fan art, reading conversations about your personal adventures in Discord, and viewing your reactions to our trailer have warmed our hearts, and we thank you for the support.

With this in mind, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release window to Q1 2023. We want to ensure that we are able to push for quality without it affecting the well-being of our team. SEASON has always been a labour of love for the team and this additional time will let us polish and refine the game to make it the special experience we set out for it to be.

We look forward to bringing you the world of SEASON: A letter to the future, and appreciate your patience while we continue to work hard on it.”

In the meantime, check out the announcement trailer below.
