Publisher Yacht Club Games and developer Nitrome will continue the legacy of its 2D mascot Shovel Knight with its new game, Shovel Knight Dig.

Shovel Knight Dig is a 2D action platformer where you dig your way downwards to treasure and fight off Drill Knight and his goons. Unlike the first Shovel Knight, this game is in full high colour with fluid animation, scaling, rotation, and parallax. Levels in the game are randomly generated, and music is provided by Jake Kaufman.

Shovel Knight Dig will be out on 23 September for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Apple Arcade. The Xbox and PlayStation versions will be out at a later date.
