E3 2023 Planned For Mid-June; Features Separate Industry & Consumer Days
By Jonathan Toyad|September 26, 2022|0 Comment
E3 2023 will be back, and will run from 13 to 16 June at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The event will feature separate industry and consumer days and spaces just like in Tokyo Game Show, according to the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). The partnered digital events and showcases will happen on 11 June.
E3’s business days will be from 13 to 15th June, and are reserved for registered industry personnel. Media will go hands-on with upcoming games in these industry-only halls and spaces. Meanwhile, the E3 Gamer Days will take place from 15 to 16 June in a separate hall from the industry area. This section will also host a dedicated theater of content for ticket holders, featuring deep dive looks at highly-anticipated titles.
“E3 is one of the global gaming industry’s few opportunities to come together, unite as one loud voice, and show the world what it is creating”, says Reedpop VP of Gaming Kyle Marsden-Kish in a press release.
“Our vision is to reunite the industry by re-establishing the traditional E3 week, bring back that spark, and restore E3’s role as a truly magical global showcase event for game creators and consumers”.
It’ll be interesting to see how this new E3 will unfold, despite this year’s no-show (being replaced by Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest) and the games journalist database and contacts leak from the ESA a while back.
