Guilty Gear Strive Crossplay Beta Gets Delayed, But…

Some sad news for Guilty Gear Strive online players, sort of.

Arc System Works has announced in its Developer Backyard blog that the game’s crossplay beta session will be delayed, but only slightly. The target release period is late September to early October, so it’s going to happen in a few weeks instead of right now. Crossplay will allow PlayStation owners to fight with PC players and vice versa.

The best part is that the crossplay beta is free for everyone, even if you do not own the game. New colours for characters will also be in development; whether they’re paid DLC or free updates is still up in the air. In addition, a new character is slated for Fall 2022, so you can expect an announcement in September and October.

Guilty Gear Strive is out now for PS5, PS4, and PC.
