Hellraiser Trailer Showcases Female Pinhead & New Cenobites

Hulu has revealed the first trailer for the upcoming new Hellraiser movie, which is described as “loyal, yet evolved re-imagining of Clive Barker’s 1987 horror classic” and the first entry in the franchise since 2018’s Hellraiser Judgment.

The Hellraiser movie reunites director David Bruckner, screenwriters Ben Collins & Luke Piotrowski, writer/producer David S. Goyer and producer Keith Levine, all of whom last teamed up on 2020’s The Night House, as well as producers Clive Barker and Marc Toberoff and executive producers Gary Barber, Peter Oillataguerre and Todd Williams.

The synopsis reads:

In “Hellraiser,” a young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension.

Jamie Clayton is portraying the new female Pinhead. The rest of the ensemble cast includes Odessa A’zion, Adam Faison, Drew Starkey, Brandon Flynn, Aoife Hinds, Jason Liles, Yinka Olorunnife, Selina Lo, Zachary Hing, Kit Clarke, with Goran Visnjic and Hiam Abbass.

Hellraiser premieres on Hulu o 7 October 2022.
