Henry Cavill Officially Confirms His Return As Superman

Henry Cavill has officially confirmed that he is returning and reprising his role as Superman in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).

On his personal Instagram page, Cavill shared an image of himself in costume as the iconic superhero.

He wrote:

“A very small taste of what’s to come, my friends. The dawn of hope renewed. Thank you for your patience, it will be rewarded. I wanted to make it official that I am back as Superman.”

The reason why Cavill announced this now is because Black Adam is now playing in cinemas, and he appears in the post-credits scene of Black Adam as Superman. Check out my review of Black Adam by heading over here.

It remains when or when Henry Cavill will appear as Superman next, but it’s nice to know that he’s officially back.
