The Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer from Universal Studios, Nintendo, and Illumination looks pretty solid. It may be a teaser, but the voice casting with Chris Pratt as the titular Mario brother and Jack Black as Bowser seems appropriate for now.

That said, some comparisons between the adaptation and the source material are inevitable. Here’s what we compiled from our end. We not only play each character to their most recent versions in the game, but also compare their voice work with the ones from the earlier titles. It’s a helluva improvement, if we say so ourselves.
