Here’s How The Nintendo NX Logo, The Switch Prototype, Looks Like

The logo and boot animation for the Nintendo NX has been leaked. For those not in the know, that’s the prototype for the Nintendo Switch. NX was the original codename that was mentioned in March 2015 as part of Nintendo’s partnership with mobile developer DeNA.

The console retained the name for a year and a half, until its announcement as the Nintendo Switch in October 2016. Nintendo has never shown the NX logo at all, at least until game preservationist Paul Kelly made this tweet.

It’s basically a white circle with “NX” in white sans serif font. So that’s something.

The Nintendo Switch is the best-selling Nintendo console of all time at this moment, surpassing the Wii’s 101.63 million units sold. It has yet to match the Nintendo DS’s 154.02 million and Game Boy/Game Boy Color’s 118.69 million.
