Comiket 101 Tickets To Go On Sale Later This Week

Comic Market, or Comiket, has announced that tickets for international non-Japanese attendees for the upcoming winter Comic Market 101, or Comiket 101, will go on sale later this week on 7 December 2022 at 2pm GMT+8.

According to the announcement (via Twitter), this is for people outside of Japan who are unable to use the regular Ticket Pay system.

Comiket has been free entry for attendees in the past nearly 50 years since its first convention in 1975. Comiket is the oldest and largest otaku convention in the world. It features exhibitions and sales of self-published publications (doujinshis) centred around manga, anime, video games, and other related genres.

The summer Comiket in August 2022 alone attracted over 170,000 attendees. At its peak, Comiket attracted a whopping 750,000 attendees in 2019.

The winter Comiket 2022 will take place from 30 to 31 December 2022. You can buy the tickets by heading over here when they go live.
